Inspection Services

Buy or Sell With Confidence

An experienced inspector will prepare your Home Inspection Reports with easy-to-read details on:

  • The condition of every major component from the roof to the basement
  • Major and minor deficiencies
  • Any major expenditures necessary
  • What to watch out for
  • Helpful home preservation tips
  • Safety concerns
  • And much more

The time will vary depending on both the size and condition of the home. For most homes, 2-3 hours is fairly typical. But for larger homes, older homes, waterfront, or homes in poor condition, it may take longer.

Our report will detail the condition of the house, including needed repairs or where further evaluation is needed by a NJ Licensed Contractor. No house is perfect, even brand new construction. When concerns are discovered, consult with your agent or attorney about possibly negotiating with the seller to have deficient items repaired or addressed before closing. Or perhaps the seller will offer more favorable contract terms. Knowing about potential concerns, and armed with a professional, detailed report before you buy, gives you the power and confidence to make the right decisions for you and your family.

Home Inspection

Our standard inspection report covers all the major systems and structural elements of the house. This includes the condition of the homes heating and air conditioning systems, plumbing and electrical systems, roof, foundation, attic and visible insulation, walls, doors, windows and all visible structures.

Radon Testing

If youre buying or selling a home, radon can be a significant issue. Buyers should be aware of the radon risk in their area and determine whether a radon test is desirable. When in doubt, the EPA always recommends testing. The cost of the test can be built into the house price. If test results already exist, make sure they are recent or that the home has not been significantly renovated since the test was performed. If in doubt, get a new test done. If youre selling a home, having a recent radon test is a great idea. By being proactive, you can assure potential buyers that there is no risk and avoid the issue from the start.

Termite Inspection

Termites can go unnoticed until they cause catastrophic damage to your home. Whether you’re shopping for a home and suspect a termite issue, or you think your current home may be affected by termites, we can provide you with comprehensive testing, and help you understand your options for termite remediation if we do discover an infestation.
