What to Expect From Your Inspection

The home buying process can be confusing and stressful. Not only do you need to consider things such as price and location, you also have to worry about whether the house itself has any problems that could become costly surprises down the road. If you are in need of a home inspection in Monmouth or Ocean Counties, Professional Inspection is here to help. Whether you need a buyer’s inspection, a pre-listing inspection, or radon testing, let Professional Inspection customize the home inspection process to meet your specific needs.

In order to prepare the report, Professional Inspection will conduct a thorough visual inspection. The inspection process typically takes about 3 hours to complete. This of course may vary, according to the size, age and condition of the home. We strongly encourage you to accompany the inspector for a summary walkthrough towards the end of the inspection to review all items inspected, inside and out. This will give you a chance to ask questions and become familiar with the systems of the home.

We will inspect hundreds of items and components then explain the overall, general condition of the home and its systems to you and your agent after the inspection is complete, taking care to point out any defects found.

In addition, we will compile a comprehensive Spectora report, delivered online via HTML, and in PDF format, documenting all our findings. Our reports include images, references, intimate details, and even video clips with sound when needed. The report will be available for you both in a desktop-friendly format and a mobile format, so that you can stay in-the-loop and check your report even when you’re on the go.

Our goal is to discover and inform you of anything we find that might affect your purchase decision. We will explain and document any concerns found, provide repair recommendations and also inform you of what maintenance tasks are required to keep the home and its systems in top condition.
